The skills are randomized in regards to unlock order, meaning that it will take a heft of time to unlock every skill for each character. If players do not complete a battle within five turns, then they will receive nothing aside from wounds and stress. A suboptimal party composition is by no means demanding of a restart. Take heart that these runs can still result in a slew of unlocks for future runs. It’s important to note that while certain party compositions are stronger than others, players should prepare for suboptimal runs based on RNG and not be afraid to experiment. A poor negative trait could render a character completely worthless, while a buff could make someone almost untouchable. These traits will define your party load-out more often than not. With each character, two random traits are rolled when you select a character: one positive, and one negative. The first decision of every playthrough is how to build your party, and the decisions become increasingly difficult as you progress through unlocks. Sleeping will advance days forward and complete certain jobs, but at the expense of inching your all closer to your doom. Time is measured in days, and is expended through your actions. You can also upgrade weapons and get items from town. Characters are very flexible, growing to your specifications. Towns have resources that you can upgrade, and these let you train up your little guys and unlock whole new classes. Take Care Of Your Tinyfolks And They’ll Take Care Of You You need to keep a close eye on how your little guys are doing, especially as battles come one after another and lead up to a boss. No pressure though.Ĭombat is a turn-based affair, with both your squad and the enemy arranged in rows that determine where they can attack, and what can attack them. Pressing on is crucial because you have a limited number of days to save the Kingdom before a catastrophe happens. You recruit fighters to your cause and engage in a risk-reward cycle where you may proceed through an area or run back to town. If there’s anything you could compare Tinyfolks to, Darkest Dungeon is a good start. It’s The Final Countdownįortunately, your tiny King or Queen survived the clash with the evil sorcerer and sets out to try and reclaim their crown and avert horrible disaster. With the crown in malevolent hands, the Kingdom is on a countdown to armageddon. In Tinyfolks, you take on the role of a monarch brutally ousted from their throne by dark forces. The game is a reasonably-priced premium offering and gives you plenty of content for your money. Adorable little minimalist RPG Tinyfolks has hit Google Play, and we love to see it.
